The most important thing about the holidays isn’t the decorations (even though that’s fun!) but the friends and family you spend it with. A great way to decorate for Christmas is to incorporate your family into your theme with holiday photo projects. There are bunch of great projects anyone can do to create keepsakes that make great gifts, too. So pull out those boxes of snapshots, and pull up those photo folders on your phones, tablets and computers. Here are our top picks for DIY holiday photo projects!

Our featured glitter photo ornament project above is found at Making Lemonade.

I don’t usually love projects from commercial organizations, but I ran across this photo pine cone project from Kodak and wanted to share it with you… I love the simplicity of this, and I envision a whole entry table decked out with these with b&w photos… I would think most pine cones would need something to keep them from rolling over though… I suggest some poster putty from office supply, or even the dollar store. A little dab on the bottom should stick it well to the table surface, with no damage to the table.

If this is the “JOY” photo collage, I would really like to do this with my daughter’s wedding photos. But when I clicked on the link for the directions, it says it is restricted & I can’t read/see it.
      Help!

Unfortunately it seems the link is no longer valid, we had the same problem! We will try to find a similar project to replace it as soon as we can!
