I have been wanting to do a few fabric painting projects around my house but I’m not sure what fabric is best / not good to use… I’ve needed some new rugs an I’d prefer to design them myself but I’ve had the hardest time finding a solid cream rug that I think will work out& look good being painted, if any suggestion or advice on where I can find rugs that are ideal to paint on

Hi Holly! I think a low pile and tight weave would take your fabric painting best… how large of a rug are you thinking of?
